How Then & Now prices the past

The calculator answers one question: if a lump sum had bought this listed stock on that date, what would those shares — after the company’s own actions — be worth now?

Pick a listing and a date

Search any major-market ticker. Use 5, 10, 15, or 20 years ago, or a date you choose. The lump sum is in the stock’s listing currency.

Daily prices plus corporate actions

We pull adjusted daily closes, splits, bonus issues, and dividends from world market data. The first available trade day is used if your date is before the listing.

Share count, then today’s value

Shares bought on the start date are walked forward. Optional dividend reinvestment buys more shares on each ex-date. Splits and bonus issues change the share count. Cash dividends stay as cash.

What you see

Today’s value, profit, multiple, CAGR, and a value path. A short script is ready to copy. None of this is a recommendation to buy or sell.
